Applications for the government’s Help to Grow: Digital programme, which aims to assist small firms in adopting digital technology, are currently being accepted.
Eligible firms can now save up to £5,000 on the retail price of authorised digital accounting and CRM software from renowned technology providers thanks to the scheme.
Businesses can also get hands-on help and guidance on how to choose the correct digital technology to help them expand and become more productive.
The plan now has three accounting software providers: Sage, Intuit, and E-crunch. The initiative will be expanded to include e-commerce software in the following phase.
Kwasi Kwarteng, the Business Secretary, stated:
‘I want UK businesses to be primed and ready to seize all the opportunities on the horizon as we build back better from the pandemic.
‘Adopting technology means higher performance, and the Help to Grow: Digital scheme is future-proofing our small businesses and putting the UK at the forefront of the worldwide digital revolution.’
